Terms of Service

By downloading or using the QR Code Reader & Generator iOS app or using the tools on qrreader.app, these terms automatically apply to you. Please read them carefully before using the app or website.

1. License & Intellectual Property

You are not allowed to copy, modify, reverse-engineer, extract the source code of, or create derivative works of the app or our trademarks. The app itself, and all trademarks, copyright, and other intellectual property rights related to it, remain the property of Fingerjoy Studios (Penghui Zhao). The QR codes and barcodes you generate from your own data belong to you and may be used freely for personal or commercial purposes.

2. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

QR Code Reader & Generator offers optional Pro subscriptions (weekly with a 3-day free trial and monthly plans) as well as a one-time Remove Ads option, billed through your Apple ID account:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase or at the end of the free trial period.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions at any time in your iPhone or iPad Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions.

3. Safe Use & External Links

QR codes and barcodes created by third parties may encode links to external websites, Wi-Fi networks, or contact details outside our control. While our app shows you the decoded content so you can inspect a URL before opening it, Fingerjoy Studios is not responsible for the content, safety, or availability of third-party websites or networks encoded in scanned QR codes.

4. Updates & Availability

We continuously update the app to support new iOS releases and barcode formats. You agree to accept updates to the application when offered through the Apple App Store.

5. Changes to These Terms

We may update our Terms of Service from time to time. Changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
